According to Bloomberg "Apple races to build next-generation, Generative AI features to catch up with OpenAI and Google. The company has developed a framework called “Ajax” to build LLMs and has deployed “Apple GPT” internally. It’s aiming for a consumer product next year.

The market reacted:

Apple hit ATH (All Time High) after Bloomberg report on AI tools. Company builds large language models & internal chatbot. Executives haven’t decided how to release tools to consumers. Apple was caught flat-footed in the past year w/introduction of OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google Bard & Microsoft’s Bing AI. Its main AI product, the Siri voice assistant, has stagnated recently.
